I have a message today for those who feel lost, defeated, discouraged and tired of failing to succeed. Perhaps the answer is in the what happened to Saul.

The word of the Lord came to Samuel: “I regret that I have made Saul king because he has turned away from me and has not carried out my instructions.” (1 Samuel 15:10 NIV) Samuel said to him, “The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to one of your neighbors–to one better than you. (1 Samuel 15:28 NIV)

Ask yourself have you been doing the Will of the Lord or your own. Have you tried to glorify yourself or God? Also, consider this that the task God had desired for you as now gone to another. Repent of your selfish desire to please yourself and become content where you are today and perform the task you currently have in a manner that Glorifies God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
