Illusion of Reality

An observation on reality on life and how we see it are an illusion; we believe we are standing upright when we are not. Even while flying, our perception is a distortion. Consider this you are standing on a large ball. To be standing upright, you would need to stand on the very top of the ball. If you were able to stand on the bottom of the ball, you would be upside down, and where on the side of the ball, you would be to some degree sideways. The fact is we do stand on a larger distorted shear shape object with high and low much like a crumpled ball. The people and things attached to this large ball we call earth are, in reality, sideways like a fly on the wall. Therefore, when we point up, we are pointing outward and not up at all.

Many people since Jesus spoke these words have had trouble with them. “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.” (John 6:53) On hearing it, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard teaching. (John 6:60) Who can accept it?” From this time, many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. (John 6:66) Many Christians have difficulty with Jesus Christ’s words of eating his flesh and drinking his blood. Since 1500 many claims that Roman Catholics are cannibals, Yet, the early Christian fathers believed that the Eucharist contained the Body and Blond of Jesus Christ just as He claimed. I will provide some insights as to why the idea of eating his body and drinking his blood is unacceptable by the Jews and later by Protestant Churches.

First, it is the drinking of the blood that the Israelite believer found offensive because God had instructed them turn Moses not to do so; this is found in Deuteronomy 12:16 “But you must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water.” The reason for this was because the life or the soul of the animal was in the blood. Leviticus 17:11 states, “For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.” The Israelites also did not practice human sacrifice. Many today reading the Bible would come to the same conclusion as the Jews.

Why not drink the blood of animals or humans? From God’s point of view. If the life and soul of the animal are in the blood, then its drinking would make you more like the animal and not like the human that God intense. Now, what of drinking the blood of a human? There we have the same effect. You would become more like the person whose blood you drink.

For this reason, virgins and infants would be sacrificed for their blood for purity, health, and youth. Warriors would drink the blood of a mighty hero to become like him. Since man had fallen from grace, drinking of animal or human blood would not return a person to life before the fall.

Now we come to Jesus Christ, who is not like other humans. He is sinless and divine. He does not even possess male DNA from a human father. Keep in mind that you would have the donor’s characteristics by drinking the blood with life and the donor’s soul, then drinking Christ’s blood would make you like Him. Now we come to a problem how millions of people every year for two thousand years drink blood from a body containing only 1.2-1.5 gallons. That would be impossible, but not for God since Jesus is also God, the Word that created the Heavens and the earth and all living creatures. He created a new covenant whereby you could eat His flesh and drink His blood. “In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” (Luke 22:20)

I find it interesting that the same people who claim that the Bible is the Word of God don’t believe in His word when it comes to the Eucharist. I will close with one example of something in 2003, Dr. Frederick Zugile of New York at Columbia University. He was examining a piece of flesh. He had this to say. “The sample you brought me is heart muscle, of the myocardium. To be precise, it is the left ventricle.” He also stated that the patient had suffered greatly and had some thrombi; at a specific moment, he could not breathe, oxygen did not reach him; he labored and suffered much because every breath was painful. Dr. Zugile went on to say, “We found some intact white blood cells, and white blood cells are transported only by blood, so if white blood cells are present it is because at the moment you brought me the sample, it was pulsating.” The doctor asked where the sample came from, and he was amazed to hear a sample was from Buenos Aires, Argentina, a Eucharist from August 15, 1996. A Eucharist with AB blood type has been discovered hundreds of times since 750 AD. The most recent was on October 12, 2013, in Tixtla, Mexico.

Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.” Remember, God can do anything, including providing away to eat and drink Christ’s body and blood. Therefore, go to Mass and eat so you may have eternal life.

One of the theologians’ most significant problems and their congregation is the pick and choose verses to create some doctrine based on putting a few verses and random sentences together and saying this is what the Bible is saying. No one would go through Hamlet and randomly pick out several verses without reading the complete text and summarize the story. Also, would you pick out a couple of sentences from each book of Game of Thrones and tell people this is the saga. People would laugh at you; however, it is done every day with the Bible.

The Bible is a Saga of many books that are episodes to one complete story. It has a setting, an antagonist, and a conflict. Since the episode extends over centuries with many characters, the protagonist is not a single person but a bloodline, leading to Israel as a nation. It is a tragic love story between God and this one nation of Israel. Jesus himself brought the message to the tribes of Israel. Yet, it ends as a comedy happy full of joy with a New Bride the Church, forever. It is not until Paul brought the Gospel of Jesus to the Gentiles, who many had Israeli DNA. The ten tribes of Israel were cast out of their homeland. They intermarried with the Gentiles, first with the Assyrians, then the Greeks and the Romans. Through Paul, the Gentile becomes part of God’s children in the Saga. Keep in mind that the whole Saga is always about the people of Israel. The first Christians were Jewish and many today have Hebrew blood, DNA.

Another often misused component is the sitting of the Saga. Only when Paul and later Peter enter Rome is the Saga outside the Babylon area. Another is with the 12 tribes as slaves in Egypt, which are the only times outside the original Biblical setting. We can identify this by two major rivers, the Tigers and the Euphrates. They are both first mentioned in Genesis. Today’s Middle East covers this very same area once called Babylon. From this literary standpoint, when we begin to read the Bible, very different pictures develop concerning the end-time events. The Saga ends where the story started. The resolution of any great story must resolve the conflicts of the story. The solution must be the acceptance of Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ as Israel’s Messiah. It is a tragic love story because many of Israel’s descendants and those converted to the Jewish faith will never come to Jesus and die not believing. Throughout the Saga, the people of Israel have turned their back on God many times. Exodus shows the first example of turning away from God by creating an idol, a golden calf. The Biblical history account shows how God punishes Israel, and they repent only to sin again.

A brief look at where the Saga ends in Israel, a part of the land once called Babylon. An angel is let loose from the bottomless pit in Gaza, a plague comes out of the Euphrates. Two prophets appear in Jerusalem, the last chance for the Jewish Israeli and the Muslim to come to Jesus Christ before He arrives. There are also 144,000 virgins called to Heaven, 12,000 from each tribe. John sees Jesus standing on Mount Moriah. The Third Temple is built, and the false messiah claims to be god there. Can there be any doubt that the setting is in Israel and Jerusalem? What group of people will suffer the most in that area, but those that live there. There is nothing to suggest any other place outside of this one. Yet things could be happening all over the earth, but the Bible is not mentioning those settings.

There is another clue as to the setting of the Saga. Much of the commentary of Daniels’s interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream stops at the two legs made of iron and clay and with the idea that the Roman Catholic church becomes the Roman Empire, but they ignore the feet. Let me add the this is one statue, and it is in Babylon. It represents what happens to this area called Babylon. The feet each have five toes. Therefore each foot still is the same area, only divided into five nations, with one foot being Sunni and the other Sufi, all within today’s five Muslim countries.

Animal sacrifice does not remove the condition for sin. Rabbis during the exile in Babylon created many rules and regulations. Due to the destruction of the Temple and the inability to sacrifice an animal for sin. However, the Talmud is a man-made creation and not one from God. Therefore even the most practicing individual to live by the rules cannot remove sin, nor can animal sacrifice. It is for this reason that Jesus Christ comes as a sacrifice for the removal of sin.

When we fail to use literary concepts in reading the Bible, we come to erroneous conclusions creating false teaching. The final events will be similar to those that foreshadowed events to come. The beast of the sea, the beast of the earth, and the Harlot will be from that setting. The protagonist is Jacob’s bloodline. The beast will be in Joseph’s character, who took care of his family while putting the Egyptians into slavery. An essential aspect never mentioned as to how the Israelites became slaves. Joesph, by the permission of Pharaoh, took possession of the food supply. The Egyptians forced to sell everything, they had to eat until they volunteered to sell themselves into slavery to purchase food. Once the new Pharaoh saw what had happened, he reversed the situation. (Genesis 47:13-46) Joseph is not a benevolent leader but a cruel one. He made himself and the Pharaoh wealthy at the expense of the people while feeding his family. The final world leader will do the same.

In conclusion, when viewing the Bible from the literary position using a story’s elements to guide us, the reader, we get a clearer picture of the past, present, and future events. The story is always first about Israel. The setting is always within the borders of Babylon. The individual characters are from the tribes of Israel with Gentile sub-characters that interact with the Israelites.

I was reading and an interesting analogy of God being a landlord and we the tenets. While reading this is what came to my mind. As an owner of a two-family home with two tenets the analogy of God the owner and us the stewards of the body was an interesting one. Since I only enter their apartments when I call the first two set up an appointment to visit. Since the agreement is that they are in possession of the apartment’s use for a fee. In ten years neither one of my tenets has ever invited me to a diner or a party. However, when something breaks I quickly get a call; this is true with the majority of people and Christians included. Suddenly when something breaks, isn’t working, not enough of this or that the phone call to God is now ringing off the hook. I often imagine what it must be like to have 8 billion calls coming in at one time. God must have an operator to direct your call to the proper department: this example came to me by the Holy Spirit. No wonder why Catholics pray to Saints and Angels they have the extension to the right department, with all the calls to God and Jesus, it’s no wonder some dial directly the Mary the Mother of Jesus. When you think of a Kingdom the King does not perform the mundane chores for the Kingdom. Someone has to filter the calls. The Holy Spirit has a sense of humor but it makes sense. It makes a person think God saying, “You never invite me in now you want something.” “What you did not do for the less of my brothers you did not do to me.” (Matthew 25:45 NIV)

When it comes to planting seeds, the planter has a verbal contract and more than a handshake, but the actual planting of the seeds. We have to individuals a farmer who owns the land, and a farmer who lonely has half a million seeds but no place to plant them. The two farmers come together, and they agree that the seed farmer and plant on the farmer’s land. Once the seeds are in the soil, the verbal contract is being implemented. The corp is to be shared equally. Halfway through the growth of the corp, the land farmer has a change of heart and destroys the corp. The land farmer is now in breach of contract even though it was a verbal agreement.

Having presented this argument, let us example the concept of a women’s right to an abortion. I will be using material from David Horowitz’s book Dark Agenda from page 105. Before choosing to have an abortion, a woman makes many other choices that radicals ignore. These choices are similar to the ones I used in the parable of the two farmers. The land farmer the female first chooses to have sex for the land to be seeded and the choice of which seed farmer she will permit the planting. Now there is the choice of planting seeds that will produce fruit, get pregnant, or remain barren with the use of some preventative means. If the decision is to bear fruit and the seed farmer plants seeds, the male provides sperm through planting intercourse the contract is now in place the land ower the female as agreed through her choice to be impregnated and willing for the production of fruit a baby.

At this point, the land farmer, the female as only rightfully two courses of action one to turn over the fruit of the harvest to the seed farmer, the male, you keep it jointly. To destroy the crop, the baby by abortion is in breach of a verbal agreement. Therefore the land farmer, the female, there should be no legal reason for her to be free of the responsibility for her previous contract agreement. Destroying of the harvest, the baby requires the consent of the seed farmer, the male, the father of the child. To abort the child without the father’s approval is a breach of the agreement, she entered when she made a choice to be seeded. Therefore, she is liable and must make restitution to the planter.

The young people today you are addicted to their cell phones can easily be deceive and also have more difficult in make lasting long term relationships. They’re so many men and women that cannot seem to find the ‘one’ they would like to spend their life with. The problem is with the use of the cell phone being their source for communication. The reason is in the lack of eye contact.

People generally have a favorable opinion of someone who is on the same or similar wavelength as them. When trying to win the heart of someone we tend to look for similarities in the other person that are agreeable with our own. We need to read the wavelength of the other person and take appropriate approach. However, texting, emailing, and even phone conversation can be miss leading since you cannot associate the message with the physical behavior. So in essences you cannot fully determine if the other persons wavelengths are compatible with yours.

The element that is missing to interpret the relationship between two people is in eye movement and thoughts. Bingo! We need to observe eye movement to determine if in fact wavelengths are similar and a relationship can develop or not. This key factor is not present in texting, or emailing. There is a possibility in a video chat if the parties are sitting close enough to see eye movement.

Since this article is dealing with the notion of easy deception and why young people who use their cell phones to build relationships can be deceived. The Blinking of Eyes is a window to truth or lies. It is known that there is a relationship between blinking the eyes and lying. Blinking the eyes provides important information about the other person; specifically, it can tell you whether or not the person is telling the truth in response to your question. It is important to carefully observe the way the other person blinks and look for a pattern. This is also effective behavior to use when negotiating a deal. To conclude put the cell phone away and meet the person face to face if you wish to establish a relationship.

As I was beginning to reflect on the gifts and nature of the Holy Spirit this came to my mind through feeling and hearing the Spirit is that these emotions seem to get ignored when discussing the Holy Spirit, perhaps because they are not directly mentioned as the others. Since the Holy Spirit is also a part of both God and Jesus. The revelation came to me made me cry, not just tears but the type of crying that overtakes your whole being to the point of uncontrollable crying. It was the Holy Spirit crying in me and like two very close friends we were crying together over a loss of a loved one. We were crying with a parent, wife, or girlfriend who lost their son, husband or boyfriend in combat. We also cried over the loved ones who died due to a violent death. I knew in an instance how people often blame God, but they never realize just how much it hurts God to see his children murdered or dying in such violence.  As Jesus approached Jerusalem and saw the city, He wept over it. (Luke 19:41) When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. (John 11:33) The Lord also mourned over the loss. Is your spirit moved to sympathy for those suffering? “I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me” (Matthew 25:36 NIV)

Then the emotion changed to wrath we often hear of the words of love, grace, and comfort from the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit is a part of God the Father as well.  The emotion of wrath and anger was upon me. His anger was for many reasons. The verse of Matthew 25:40 and 45 came to me. “What you have done to the least of my brothers you have done to me. Also what you have not done to the least of my brother you have done to me.”  God was angry at the way we treat each other and He was increasingly angry with lukewarm Christians who stand back and do nothing when they see or hear injustice, crimes, and immoral behavior. 80% of all abortions are done by women who claim to be Christians. More than 52% of Christians vote and support those who support abortions. How many Christians step in and stop a fight or prevent a crime.

Holy Spirit spoke where is my strength, courage, and steadfastness among Christians who claim Jesus.  God’s eternal purposes in Christ is to stand against the enemy of righteousness, not to run like cowards. Christians have become soft namby-pamby individuals. Do we actually believe that this type of characteristic free us? “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,” (Romans 8:1 NIV) No so! “For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.” (2 Peter 2:21 KJV) In order words, you are worse off than before you knew Christ.

Here is how Jesus reacted when he saw injustice. “Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the benches of those selling doves.” (Matthew 21:12 NIV) Today many use the idea of love and kindness as the cowards way out of defending the faith. Yes, we are to pray for our enemy and turn our cheek to a minor offense but that is no excuse to not step in and stop injustice. If you permit it to happen you assist in the action and therefore you have done it to Jesus. You turned your back on Christ and in doing so you become as Judas Iscariot the betrayer.

The Spirit revealed that God’s personal presence in Christ is to be strong and brave for God is Almighty. The Holy Spirit revealed that we need to be encouraged and mighty and ready to do battle against the forces of evil and to protect the old, young and innocent. We are to be wearing the armor of God and to be ready to defend His Kingdom. The spirit revealed that we receive from Him, the Holy Spirit, the strength to serve the Kingdom as brave and mighty soldiers of God. Jesus showed us how to be a mighty warrior in the passions of Christ as he was wiped and crucified we never read he said ouch or cried out to stop the torture.  Finally, the Lord revealed pray for your enemies but we are not to stand by and do nothing that permits evil to continue. We are to be strong in the Almighty power of the Holy Spirit.  “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 24:12-13 NIV) That is an indirect order from the King of kings. Courage is also a gift of the Spirit.

Many people seem to think when they die there soul goes somewhere but this is a big mistake since the word soul is miss understood. The English translation of Hebrew is misleading when it comes to the word ‘soul.’ When I pointed this out to some friends at a Bible Study they nearly freaked out. Now during the reformation, the Catholic  Church forbids individuals from translating the Bible. Here would be an example of why.  The Hebrew word for soul is נֶ֫פֶשׁ, nephesh, although translated as “soul” in some older English Bibles, actually has a meaning closer to “living being”. Nephesh was rendered in the Septuagint as ψυχή (psūchê), the Greek word for soul. It is not a spirit. So when you die the “living being” is now dead.

Ecclesiastes 3:18-20 New International Version (NIV)

18 “I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. 19 Surely the fate of human beings is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; humans have no advantage over animals. Everything is meaningless. 20 All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return.”

Nephesh (נֶ֫פֶשׁ nép̄eš) is a Biblical Hebrew word which occurs in the Hebrew Bible. The word refers to the aspects of sentience, and human beings and other animals are both described as having nephesh. Sentience is the capacity to feel, perceive, or experience subjectively.[1] Eighteenth-century philosophers used the concept to distinguish the ability to think (reason) from the ability to feel (sentience). In modern Western philosophy, sentience is the ability to experience sensations (known in philosophy of mind as “qualia“). In Eastern philosophy, sentience is a metaphysical quality of all things that require respect and care.

Plants, as an example of live organisms, are not referred to in the Bible as having nephesh. The term נפש is literally “soul”, although it is commonly rendered as “life” in English translations. One view is that nephesh relates to sentient beings without the idea of life and that, rather than having a nephesh, a sentient creation of God is a nephesh. InGenesis 2:7 the text is that Adam was not given a nephesh but “became a living nephesh.” Nephesh then is better understood as a person, seeing that Leviticus 21:11 and Numbers 6:6 speak of a “dead body”, which in Hebrew is a nép̄eš mêṯ, a dead nephesh. Nephesh, when put with another word, can detail aspects related to the concept of nephesh; with רוּחַ rûach (“spirit”) it describes a part of mankind that is immaterial, like one’s mind, emotions, will, intellect, personality, and conscience, as in Job 7:11. As you can see it has nothing to do with the misconception of an immortal spirit. Only Jesus can give you eternal life.
