I recently saw and read something on FaceBook with the same vague reasons for Abel’s sacrifice being acceptable and Cain’s rejection by God. Also, no real reason why Cain becomes jealous and kills his brother. Finally no explanation as to who and where Cain gets a wife when he runs off and starts a tribe of his own. Since we have indeterminate, unclear, hazy reasons based on what the author of Genesis presents we need to examine the details more closely.

Most theologians would present that Abel was a keeper of folk of sheep, while Cain was a farmer. They both sacrifice the first fruits of what they had. At this point, we have no information that Adam sacrificed anything we can suggest that Adam was also a farmer since God’s curse involved the land. “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil, you will eat food from it all the days of your life.” This brings us to the question of what made Abel a shepherd and why he choose to sacrifice the fat portion of his firstborn? Another question comes to mind how many sheep did Abel have. As you can see these are only a few questions that theologians seldom answer.

Let’s examine Genesis 4: “In the course of time, Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. And Abel also brought an offering—fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor.” Notice the fat portion of some of the firstborn of the flock is what Abel sacrificed. In order to get the fat portion you first must kill the animal then separate the fat from the meat of the muscle.

The question here is did Abel eat or cast away the fat. While Cain brought the fruits of the soil. Cain sacrifices that which was edible to God. Theologians often make their readers believe that Abel sacrificed a lamb to God, but here we read the fat portion. The suggestion here is that the meat was not sacrificed therefore the better portion was not sacrificed to God. Yet God accepts Abel’s offering.

God provides a clue why it was not acceptable: Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” (Genesis 6-7 NIV) What sin is crouching at Cain’s door? God asks Cain why are you angry? God rejected Cain’s offering not because there were few fruits or bad fruits since Abel’s sacrifice was not the meat but the fat. It was rejected because he was angry. Why was Cain angry? This is the question that theologians fail to answer and is at the heart of why God warns Cain by first rejecting his offering. It isn’t the offering that is rejected, but Cain’s attitude while presenting the offering. In Matthew 5:24 Jesus provides the clue; “Leave your gift there in front of the altar. First, go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.” There is a conflict between Cain and Abel but also possibly with his parents.

What could be the possible reason why the firstborn son is angry? We have read that the fat portion was sacrificed. So what was done with the meat? Abel provided the meat of the lamb to be eaten, roasted over a fire as the fat was sacrificed. Like a shepherd he sat and watched his sheep graze, while Cain work hard to till the soil, watering the crops. Perhaps Adam and Eve praised Abel for the meat of the lamb, giving him more attention; as Jacob later does with Joseph. The climax of Cain’s jealousy comes with a decision of marriage for Abel, and himself.

In a non-Canon document, both Cain and Abel had twin sisters. Cain’s twin was beautiful, and he was handsome and strong due to his hard work. Abel and his sister were more homely. Adam and Eve were inspirited to crossbreed the two couples Cain’s twin to Abel and Abel’s twin to Cain; this arrangement only increased Cain’s anger causing his sacrifice to be rejected. Having his brother praised for meat and now rewarded with his sister was the last straw. Cain’s sister also desired him over Abel. A meeting was agreed upon between brothers. Cain rejects the idea of marriage with Abel’s twin. The conflict increases and Cain is in anger as God had warned fails to rule over his anger. As the result, Cain kills Abel and runs off with his twin turning his back on God and his parents.

Now you ask why isn’t a part of the Genesis story. The reason being was the notion of incest is present and therefore rejected, as Canon. However, Adam and Eve were in reality twins. Eve was created from a portion of Adam’s body, therefore sharing the same DNA. Since there were no other humans on the earth procreation would have been necessary with brothers and sisters breeding. God-given inspiration provided Adam and Eve to decide to crossbreed, a sign of moving away from inbreeding. When we add the rejected accounts to the history the reactions become more clear, that the death of Abel is over a woman. The desire and jealousy for knowledge of a woman brought sin into the world and the desire and jealousy over a woman brings about the first murder. The desire for a woman and murder occurs often in history. David takes a friend’s wife and later has him killed. The Bible has many reoccurring themes.

Many people since Jesus spoke these words have had trouble with them. “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.” (John 6:53) On hearing it, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard teaching. (John 6:60) Who can accept it?” From this time, many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. (John 6:66) Many Christians have difficulty with Jesus Christ’s words of eating his flesh and drinking his blood. Since 1500 many claimed that Roman Catholics are cannibals, Yet, the early Christian fathers believed that the Eucharist contained the Body and Blond of Jesus Christ just as He claimed. I will provide some insights as to why the idea of eating his body and drinking his blood is unacceptable by the Jews and later by Protestant Churches.

First, it is the drinking of the blood that the Israelite believer found offensive because God had instructed them through Moses not to do so; this is found in Deuteronomy 12:16 “But you must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water.” The reason for this was that the life of the animal was in the blood. Leviticus 17:11 states, “For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.” The Israelites also did not practice human sacrifice. Many today reading the Bible would come to the same conclusion as the Jews.

Why not drink the blood of animals or humans? From God’s point of view. If the life of the animal is in the blood, then its drinking would make you more like the animal and not like the human that God intense. Now, what of drinking the blood of a human? There we have the same effect. You would become more like the person whose blood you drink.

For this reason, virgins and infants would be sacrificed for their blood for purity, health, and youth. Warriors would drink the blood of a mighty hero to become like him. Since man had fallen from grace, drinking animal or human blood would not return a person to life before the fall.

Now we come to Jesus Christ, who is not like other humans. He is sinless and divine. He does not even possess male DNA from a human father. Keep in mind that you would have the donor’s characteristics by drinking the blood with life and the donor’s soul, then drinking Christ’s blood would make you like Him. Now we come to a problem how millions of people every year for two thousand years drink blood from a body containing only 1.2-1.5 gallons. That would be impossible, but not for God since Jesus is also God, the Word that created the Heavens and the earth and all living creatures. He created a new covenant whereby you could eat His flesh and drink His blood. “In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” (Luke 22:20)

I find it interesting that the same people who claim that the Bible is the Word of God don’t believe in His word when it comes to the Eucharist. I will close with one example of something from 2003, Dr. Frederick Zugile of New York at Columbia University. He was examining a piece of flesh. He had this to say. “The sample you brought me is heart muscle, of the myocardium. To be precise, it is the left ventricle.” He also stated that the patient had suffered greatly and had some thrombi; at a specific moment, he could not breathe, oxygen did not reach him; he labored and suffered much because every breath was painful. Dr. Zugile went on to say, “We found some intact white blood cells, and white blood cells are transported only by blood, so if white blood cells are present it is because at the moment you brought me the sample, it was pulsating.” The doctor asked where the sample came from, and he was amazed to hear a sample was from Buenos Aires, Argentina, a Eucharist from August 15, 1996. A Eucharist with AB blood type has been discovered hundreds of times since 750 AD. The most recent was on October 12, 2013, in Tixtla, Mexico.

Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.” Remember, God can do anything, including providing away to eat and drink Christ’s body and blood. Therefore, go to Mass and eat so you may have eternal life.

After the fall of mankind, a separation and blockage took place in sensing the Spirit of God within, and “Oneness” was lost.

Since subconscious divided in two, it still possessed some of its earlier attributes; these attributes still provided man with a certain level of dominion that he had before the separation. The Law of Attraction and The Law of Manifestation were still within his grasp. However, he would now have to learn through hard work how to use them. Humankind now would have to use his will power and trial and error to discover mastery of these Laws. Hence, the man was and is capable of achieving great success in all areas of his life. Abundant or eternal life was out of reach, so no matter how great was man’s success, he would “surely die.”

The next level mixes beliefs or thoughts of both good and evil. For example, the person holds to the idea that if you work hard, you will become successful while looking at others who are successful, claiming that they got all the breaks. Two conflicting thought processes exist at this level; therefore, the individual experiences some success but never to the degree desired. It is because the conscious level is saying, ‘If I work hard, I will become very successful, while emotionally, he is also saying, I never get any breaks.’ It is due primarily to the unawareness of envy, resentment, or some other negative belief. Since, in this case, the emotional thoughts upload more easily into the subconscious, the results are counterproductive. The majority of people are at this level due to conflicting views between emotional consciousness and mental consciousness; therefore, they block their success. The results are the individual never achieves the desire of the heart.

Moving upward to the next level of manifestation is consciousness in control, predominantly a positive or a good thinker and emotions that agree. Here we have the people who manifest their businesses and other forms of affairs and activities through; sheer willpower. They know that it is a numbers game. It requires physical action, which means working extended hour days, making a large number of phone calls, physically organizing, seeing clients, running errands, administrating, and doing whatever it takes to be successful. It may, however, create an unbalanced lifestyle but a financially sound one.

The final stage of human conscious programming the subconscious mind to manifest our desired results. The individuals are those who seem to get all the breaks in life. They use the power of their imagination to attract and manifest their desires. They understand and use the fundamental Law of Manifestation to their advantage. Winners believe that they can win on both the conscious and subconscious levels; we accomplish this by visualizing the win both mentally, emotionally and expecting it to happen. This law functions regardless if you are aware and understand it or not. It is the Hermetic law of correspondence, which states, “As within, so without, as above, so below.” What you think and imagine in your conscious and subconscious mind, abstract world of thought will manifest its mirror likeness in your concert world of matter. Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world. It is the law, and it displays for good or for the bad. In short, there is only one result for the Law of Manifestation, and that is a success.

The final level is a conscious and subconscious awareness of “Oneness with the Lord” Here, success is not measured, but earthly forms of wealth since things never completing fill the void of the heart which longs to be reunited with God. It is this level where we achieve contentment and happiness results in “oneness” since only the Spirit of God can fill the void.

I started to blog sharing some thoughts on God the Landlord & the tenant in this blog I want to show what is God’s intention as a Landlord.

Let us take a closer look at the landlord’s responsibility. The one thing left out in this landlord analogy is that in many cases the landlord often pays for some of the utilities, for example, the I pay the water bill. The tenets would not live there without running water. The same is true about our bodies, without the breath of life our bodies are lifeless. So God is making an investment in you whether you believe in God or not. Similar to my tenets they both get the same treatment. Another example that is lifted out is not all properties are the same. Some are small shacks while others are massive mansions and they require different amounts of energy to keep them warm or cold. The same builder many build a home and something like Trump Towers. They each have different users with different tents. These different tents also have larger spaces that they rent, greater to pay, and greater abilities to host the landlord into their home. Someone living in a shack may only be able to offer you a beer while the one living in the mansion fine Champaign, of course, the landlord can also bring the tenet a gift. Like in the case of Jesus, Peter and Paul’s shadow landing on a faithful person causing healing or touching the garment is the result of the degree of the Holy Spirit’s presence in them. Not everyone is a Paul or a Peter and certainly, there is only one Jesus.

You see I own the property but I don’t use. So there is something different taking place here. We arrive at the key element that was missing in the Landlord and tenet analogy. Where did Peter and Paul receive the power to heal they certainly weren’t Jesus the second part of the Holy Trinity? The speaker seems to have either we humans in control of our bodies or the Holy Spirit, God in control of our bodies. When my tenets control the flat and if the flat is empty I do. However, something different must take place to be similar to Peter and Paul.

The Spirit that dwells in me seems to disagree with those to extremes, Yes God can use me to do His will even when I am disobeying Him, but is that the relationship that God desires?  The more I thought about the tenet landlord relationship it isn’t one or the other that occupies the house meaning our body but God is seeking a roommate. Scripture makes reference to Israel being a Wife to God and the Church the Bribe to Jesus. A husband and a wife share the same home, they are roommates, partners, scripture tells us they become one. God wants to be roommates He already occupies our bodies with the breath of life but He wants a more active team role. God wants us to be One. Jesus said, “I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.” (John 17:21 NLT)  With the Holy Spirit, we are able to be that Oneness, a team effort working together. God seeks an intimate relationship. God wants to be our roommate, living in us in harmony. God wants to be the planner of our lives and we are to be the achiever who puts God’s plans to work, working together in one property.

Why does God deliver? I will answer this question from how the Holy Spirit is prompting me to answer. The question that many people ask is, “I did not ask to be born and it is not fair that I should go to Hell if I did not ask to be here. I did not ask to have this body, and this weakness, therefore, why should I be punished?” I know that I have asked these questions myself. Now let us examine why God delivers us. God knows all of the questions I have asked and God would say I am right you had no choice in Me creating you. The Holy Spirit is answering this as I write. “I knew that man would sin since I created man from the dust of the earth and therefore there is darkness as part of man’s nature. I knew that man would sin. Since My Justice requires punishment and My mercy forgiveness I provided a means to satisfy both conditions.

For my creation to be created from Light and destroy darkness and sin that is present in man and in the world forever. To satisfy both the conditions for Justice and Mercy I would have to die in man’s place to do so I became man. Once that was completed man now had a choice to remain in darkness and be punished or to receive My light and live with me for all eternity. Now mankind would have the choice they did not have upon entering the world.” Since God created man from the dust of the earth, which predisposes man to sin. God’s justice also requires Him to rectify the predisposed condition. God’s love and mercy would require action on man’s behalf since they did not request to be created. Therefore God’s sacrifice of Himself as Christ satisfies all the conditions of justice and mercy.

As I was beginning to reflect on the gifts and nature of the Holy Spirit this came to my mind through feeling and hearing the Spirit is that these emotions seem to get ignored when discussing the Holy Spirit, perhaps because they are not directly mentioned as the others. Since the Holy Spirit is also a part of both God and Jesus. The revelation came to me made me cry, not just tears but the type of crying that overtakes your whole being to the point of uncontrollable crying. It was the Holy Spirit crying in me and like two very close friends we were crying together over a loss of a loved one. We were crying with a parent, wife, or girlfriend who lost their son, husband or boyfriend in combat. We also cried over the loved ones who died due to a violent death. I knew in an instance how people often blame God, but they never realize just how much it hurts God to see his children murdered or dying in such violence.  As Jesus approached Jerusalem and saw the city, He wept over it. (Luke 19:41) When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. (John 11:33) The Lord also mourned over the loss. Is your spirit moved to sympathy for those suffering? “I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me” (Matthew 25:36 NIV)

Then the emotion changed to wrath we often hear of the words of love, grace, and comfort from the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit is a part of God the Father as well.  The emotion of wrath and anger was upon me. His anger was for many reasons. The verse of Matthew 25:40 and 45 came to me. “What you have done to the least of my brothers you have done to me. Also what you have not done to the least of my brother you have done to me.”  God was angry at the way we treat each other and He was increasingly angry with lukewarm Christians who stand back and do nothing when they see or hear injustice, crimes, and immoral behavior. 80% of all abortions are done by women who claim to be Christians. More than 52% of Christians vote and support those who support abortions. How many Christians step in and stop a fight or prevent a crime.

Holy Spirit spoke where is my strength, courage, and steadfastness among Christians who claim Jesus.  God’s eternal purposes in Christ is to stand against the enemy of righteousness, not to run like cowards. Christians have become soft namby-pamby individuals. Do we actually believe that this type of characteristic free us? “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,” (Romans 8:1 NIV) No so! “For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.” (2 Peter 2:21 KJV) In order words, you are worse off than before you knew Christ.

Here is how Jesus reacted when he saw injustice. “Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the benches of those selling doves.” (Matthew 21:12 NIV) Today many use the idea of love and kindness as the cowards way out of defending the faith. Yes, we are to pray for our enemy and turn our cheek to a minor offense but that is no excuse to not step in and stop injustice. If you permit it to happen you assist in the action and therefore you have done it to Jesus. You turned your back on Christ and in doing so you become as Judas Iscariot the betrayer.

The Spirit revealed that God’s personal presence in Christ is to be strong and brave for God is Almighty. The Holy Spirit revealed that we need to be encouraged and mighty and ready to do battle against the forces of evil and to protect the old, young and innocent. We are to be wearing the armor of God and to be ready to defend His Kingdom. The spirit revealed that we receive from Him, the Holy Spirit, the strength to serve the Kingdom as brave and mighty soldiers of God. Jesus showed us how to be a mighty warrior in the passions of Christ as he was wiped and crucified we never read he said ouch or cried out to stop the torture.  Finally, the Lord revealed pray for your enemies but we are not to stand by and do nothing that permits evil to continue. We are to be strong in the Almighty power of the Holy Spirit.  “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 24:12-13 NIV) That is an indirect order from the King of kings. Courage is also a gift of the Spirit.

Faith Challenge

This is just a sample of one of the days in a 40 day Faith Challenge.

Today I would also invite you to a 30 challenge ending with the final day’s entry. The purpose of the challenge is to build our Faith in the Blessed Trinity, and in our salvation, but more important to be able to hold firmly to the Word of God in our lives.

Begin each day by saying out loud and as often as you remember the following short prayer request. Unlike many of our prayers this is not a shopping list of material things we need, but more of God’s Grace in the form of Faith. Therefore repeat this often: ”Father God in the name of your Son Jesus Christ increase unwavering Faith in my heart, mind, and soul.”

Try and set aside a place in the morning to begin your day in Faith. Use your cell phone to remind you to repeat the daily challenge. I would also suggest you also keep a journal and record any spiritual changes in your life. Thank you and have a blessed day.

Visit Amazon for a copy of Faith Challenge. Increasing someone Faith is the greatest gift you can give someone for Christmas.

A month ago I completed my commentary on the Book of Revelation. I was told to write it by the Lord and I was told I would also be aided in the writing.  It took nearly 2 years to  complete. I prayed, meditated and researched each chapter and verse. The commentary is not based on any particular church doctrine. As an elementary teacher and also a college level adjunct professor I have taught writing.  I was guided to examine the book from a literary position by examining the material as an autobiography of two major characters God and His creation. I am now offering this guided work in a pdf file free of charge. If you wish to read the commentary you can get a copy by requesting it in writing to me at docspeaksshow@gmail.com

You also have my permission to share the file with family and friends. You will discover that a good deal of what is presently taught is incorrect. Thank you for your continued support and God Bless.

We have people today starting with Obama, Hillary, AG Lynch and many others in DC and in the media must think we the people are stupid. It has come to the point where they lie openly to our face as if we are so stupid that we can’t tell a lie from the truth. They have no fear of any consequence. The sad thing is so many people believe their lies.

The world is filled will all types of evil and become worse. This morning the Holy Spirit spoke to me and gave me a simple but might prayer to say consistently, in order to finally put and end to evil in our world. I created this short video in order to share the prayer and to ask you to share it. God Bless:
