Category: Warrior Mindset

My article is not a request for money for Wounded Warriors but about a different type of Warrior with wounds. Christians often are wounded spiritually. They may not have physical injuries though some do; in most cases, there is a wounded spirit. Unfortunately, the churches have failed to strengthen the characteristics of the Soldier for Christ. They have done this by constantly imagining Jesus Christ as the Lamb, a docile animal. Jesus, however, was the Lion of Judah with courage and strength to do His Father’s will. He prayed that the cup of pain should be given to another, not as He willed but as God willed. The act of prayer was more for us that we will face times of trial and tribulation, and we are to grin and bear it, for it must always be God’s will and not ours.

The enemy of God, however, will tempt us with three things, for he knows that one of them, if not all three, will have us choose our will and not God’s. These temptations are Riches and whatever makes life comfortable; Pleasure of every kind that makes it enjoyable; Honor to be famous, administration, all that makes consequential. Any one of these is a trap to lure us from God. Like, bait on a hook to capture a fish. When you don’t take the bait, the enemy comes to destroy you with pain and suffering so that you blame God and even reject the idea of God. What the enemy could not do with his three imagines of a beautiful life, he now does with its absences. You are now wounded, discouraged, Satan’s greatest weapon. He gets you to quit serving the Lord Christ and God. However, it is at this point if you stand fast and thank God for the trial and accept your destiny as Jesus Christ did in the Garden that the Holy Spirit will descend on you and give you the strength you need to overcome the enemy.

A true Christian is to follow his King Jesus Christ into the same battlefield as his Lord commends. Jesus commands us this; “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self? Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and the holy angels.” (Luke 9:23-26 NIV) We are only true Christian when we are prepared to die for Christ.

During my lifetime, I have observed that there are different types among the clergy and the parishioners. Now I am not referring to various denominations of Christians but the actual kind of believer. The Preachers are con men and women that sell the abundance message that God and Jesus will make you rich by naming it and claiming it. The only people getting rich are them. One con Evangelist said in a broadcast send me one thousand dollars, and God will send you ten times more. I guess he thinks God prints money or some billionaire out of the blue will mail you a check for ten thousand dollars.

You have the priest who says mass that the Eucharist is the body of Christ, but not a single miracle takes place in his church during his lifetime, but miracles do take place, just not in his church. The reason is simple it has become nothing more than a ritual that he performs. He has no faith that Christ is present in the Eucharist. The parishioners don’t believe in it anymore as well. Yet miracles have taken place in churches many times over the last 1500 years. At Columbia University, a professor examined some AB blood type heart tissue with no male DNA present. After the examination, he discovered that it was from a Eucharist said at a Mass in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

80% of so-called Christian men in any denomination never go to church. They are the couch Christian who is just a notch above an atheist; they say they believe, but that is the end. They believe not to be as foolish as an atheist to discover that there is a God on their way to Hell after death. Their attitude is, I think that is all I need to do. They are like a soldier who puts on a uniform but never leaves the house.

Moving up the Christian ladder is the beggar. These are the people that get conned into the abundance message. They are the beggars that want God to be their butler because Jesus said, “What ever you ask in my name the Father will grant it for you.” They are never satisfied. They are like spoiled brats, for they only love God for the things, and when the items don’t come, there is no God. Never thinking God knows their heart and intentions.

Next is the group that goes to church on Sunday and even during the week, so people in the parish see them and that because they go to church, they are good Christians. Keep in mind this is primarily women since, as I already stated, men don’t go to church. Now we come to those who go to church daily and Sunday because they want a relationship with Jesus and God the Father by visiting in community with others to worship. We also have those who will volunteer to help the church and the community. They are the Christians who want to serve the Lord by following these two simple orders. “What you do for the least of my Brothers and Sisters you have done for me.” The other is, “What you did not do for the least you did not do for me.” So you cannot live up to Jesus Christ’s orders sitting on a couch, begging for things, and going to church; it requires service

Finally, we come to the few who are true believers, who obey the Lord Jesus Christ’s Proclamation. “Then he said to them all: ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self?Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.'” (Luke 9:23-26 KJV) Here we have what Jesus commands His followers to be. We are to be willing to suffer and die for the Lord. Whatever problem or sacrifice that comes the way of a true believer, one who is willing to follow Jesus Christ as ordered is doing the will of the Lord. He suffered and died for you; therefore, following Him means being willing to suffer and die for Him. You cannot do it sitting home doing nothing or asking daily for things and relief from problems. Instead, thank the Lord for every pain and difficulty, saying, “I endure this for your Lord.” Jesus Christ’s command requires the sacrifice of doing, suffering, and being willing to die for the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Which type of Christian are you? What do you need to do to be a true Christian for the Lord? Start doing it today because tomorrow is not guaranteed.

Reincarnation is nothing more than ‘do it over.'” The principle behind reincarnation is an evolution of the soul to perfection in other to enter Heaven. Evolution of the spirit, the idea is that you keep coming back until you get it right and have finally earned Heaven through merit. When you examine it objectively, it is nothing more than a child’s idea when something goes wrong in a game by asking for a Do-Over.

The problem with reincarnation is that you may get one thing right that you got wrong in the previous life, and now you get something wrong you got right. It only takes one mistake, and you’ll be asking for another Do-Over. There is more to this scenario and why it does not work. You hurt someone in a previous life, and that debt needs to be paid. Because you treated that person poorly in your next life, you are in a worse position than the previous life. Also, the person you hurt in now in a situation where his or her life has improved the result you never meet that person again, and therefore you cannot repay the debt. Since you fail to recognize, you now have to return, and your condition only worsens because you cannot do over what you need to do.

There is another area of concern you had a mission to complete, but you failed. Now, you have another task to accomplish in your next life, but you also have to complete the other. Does the situation now become which do you do? You try to do both, but neither gets met well, and the problem only snowballs and because harder to accomplish. Things kept getting more and more difficult. You are not completing a mission. In doing so, you are hurting more and more people. It is like being in quicksand; the harder you try to correct things, the worse things get.

Now the problem increases since each time you fail at correcting your previous life, each time you die and come back to the life you became so wicked you could never get to Heaven. However, lets’ assume that the concept is correct. Jesus Christ still pays for your mistake and breaks the cycle. Therefore, if you find yourself alive now, it could be because you rejected him before. God the Father then indirectly gave you another chance to do so. So it is much easier to accept Jesus Christ and break the cycle by thinking there is only one life, so get it right now. Quit the Do-Overs and accept Jesus and have it done.

Satan has managed to teach a fake narrative about himself. Over the centuries, the people of the world have grasped the notice of this doctrine of fiction, and the clergy and parents have taught it to their children, who in turn who taught it to theirs. The false teaching that Satan and his demons are in Hell is the greatest of all lies. Satan has never stepped inside Hades or into the Lake of Fire. Scripture gives us several clues as to where Satan resides. Many people, including the majority of Christians, cannot tell you where Satan is at the very instant that you are read this. If you ask the question, where is the devil? The answer would be in Hell. The answer would be incorrect because it disagrees with the Bible. The problem is what does the Bible reveal about the primary villain, the enemy of Jesus Christ and mankind, Satan?

The enemy first appears in the Garden Eden, “Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made.” (Genesis 3 NIV) The serpent here is the enemy lying to Eve to get her to sin in the Garden of Eden. Later in scripture, we read, “One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord God, and Satan also came with them. The Lord said to Satan, ‘Where have you come from?’ Satan answered the Lord, From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.” (Job 1:6-7 NIV) Now Satan is in Heaven before the Lord, and he tells God that he was walking around the earth.

Now after Jesus Christ resurrects from the dead, a war begins in Heaven. “And war broke out in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in Heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” (Revelation 12:7-12 NIV) Earlier in the book of Revelation, John writes. “To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword.I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives.” Jesus tells John to write that Satan has a throne in Pergamum, not Hell.

Our next clue is what happens to Satan in the future. “Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven. He had in his hand a key to the hole without a bottom. He also had a strong chain. He took hold of the dragon, that old snake, who is the Devil, or Satan, and chained him for 1,000 years. The angel threw the Devil into the hole without a bottom. He shut it and locked him in it. He could not fool the nations anymore until the 1,000 years were completed. After this, he must be free for a while.” When Satan is in chains for 1000 years begins the period of the millennium a thousand years of sin-free peace on earth with Jesus Christ. After that period, Satan starts another war, but the Lord puts a quick end to it. “And the Devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” Hence, at present, Satan and his demons are not in Hell but on earth, causing men and women to sin through temptation and possession. I pray that God builds a fence around you to block the enemy from harming you and that you also put on the armor of God for additional protection.

Since the beginning of the species called man, humans have accepted the lie before truth. The deceiver knew that Eve desired the forbidden fruit. “When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it.” (Genesis 3:6 NIV) The deceiver merely added one word to what God spoke, and that was “not” to the statement “for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” (Genesis 2:17 ESV) The deceiver added the word “not,” but to close on the sale of destroying Eve and her husband, he added another lie, and that was “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3:5 ESV) The deceiver’s suggestion of becoming like God. To be a god is what sold Eve to eat from the fruit.

Now Adam stood by and did nothing. He simply takes the fruit and eats, perhaps assuming she did not die and not knowing what death was, took and ate. It would suggest he did not witness something happening to Eve and that he also wanted to be a god. With each choice comes a consequence, for Adam and Eve are being cast out of Eden and finally dying. Accepting the lie for the truth, however, is greater today than ever. I recently read a statement that someone posted on YouTube that he read the Bible from cover to cover, and it does not mention gender; this is a lie because in Genesis 5:2 NIV we read, “He created them male and female and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind” when they were created.” Also, in Mark 10:6 NIV, we read, “But at the beginning of creation God’ made them male and female.'” It is obvious God created males and females, not anything else. But it is true of other species as well. “The clean and unclean animals, the birds, and everything that crawls along the ground came to Noah to enter the ark, two by two, male and female, as God had commanded Noah.” (Genesis 7:8-9 NIV) The individual either lied about reading the Bible from cover to cover or not knowing how to read. I point this out because today, some people seem to think there are more than two genders.

A woman I know professes to be a Christian, but her verbal statements lend me to think differently about her. She claims that it is a person’s perspective is the source of truth. Well, it was Eve’s perceptive that she would be a god that caused the fall. Also, there cannot be two perspectives your’s and God’s. Many individuals claim to have some answer different from the one God presences. When a person does, they take on the role of the deceiver and present the lie. For example, there is no actual scientific evidence of where life comes from and where it goes. The reality is to remove God from the picture. Recently in San Francisco, CA, and a city named after a saint, closed a church because what they teach is not scientific. Regardless of the fact, it is unconstitutional to do so. Again we see the lie to take the position of truth. Again the lie is taking center stage to reject the truth.

Some claim the Bible is not accurate, or it is simply a myth rejecting the fact that the Bible is also the history of the Hebrew race, the 12 Tribes of Israel. If this is not so, then why did Islam built on the foundation of Solomon’s Temple. Today, we hear more and more distortions of the truth or outright rejection of the truth as if it is the lie, as the serpent did in the Garden of Eden. The truth is becoming more and more rejected with the use of covert hypnosis by the media to convince the masses of their lie is true. The continued use of repetition convinces the masses of the falsehood. It prepares the way for accepting the False Messiah by continuing to use the term of Ant-Christ, having people believe the Beast of the Sea will be a Christian to be Christ. He will be the long-awaited Messiah for Jesus Christ, said, “At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.” (Matthew 24:23 NIV) We need to pray to God for the gift of discernment in the name of Jesus Christ to know the difference between the lie and God’s Truth.

There is a lot of hate focused on one man by so many in places of power and business. I could not help but wonder why there aren’t a small number of people from a group that does not share the same degree of hate to destroy a single man’s career and life. After lying and cheating him out of a position, you think that would be enough. They then create an atmosphere of violence to discredit him further with the purpose even to have him arrested on false charges, and to demand even to silence him, possibly even with death, is beyond belief. What causes me to question is that there is not one righteous person to stand up in a group of 200 people to stand up and say no, this is enough. Image yourself in that group, and you knew that everything is wrong, what would you do? Scripture warns us of such an experience, “Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” (1 Corinthians 15:33 NIV)

The old saying is, “Birds of a feather flock together.” People tend to become more like those they associate with and do things. The behavior pattern is the same as in high school. The nerds, jocks, wise guys, musicians, and the in crowed all hung together in their little clicks. To be welcome in the group, you dressed and acted like the others in that group. The pattern of behavior continues even as adults. I recall a friend who adds a job on Wall Street, and I noticed they all wore that same blue London Fog Coat. I even joked, saying, “What is that your uniform?” Dressing alike is only the beginning of cooperative behavior.

The scripture tells us to avoid a particular type of association. “I do not sit with the deceitful, nor do I associate with hypocrites. I abhor the assembly of evildoers and refuse to sit with the wicked.” (Psalm 26:4-5 NIV) If we ignore this simple suggestion, we can ruin our godly morals and ruin our Christian judgment very quickly. We have let our guard down to become like those immoral members. The members will often humiliate you if you do not conform to the group’s standard. We can experience deception if we’re not careful like Eve in the Garden. The serpent had her think it was good, and it would not hurt her, but he fooled her. Often this is the very same strategy used to get us to comply with the group. Perhaps you are in a position where kickbacks and brides are the rules of the day or doing drugs, sex with minors, and you watch others doing it, and you fall into the trap. It’s so much harder to resist the temptation to sin when those around you are already doing it. Now there is no way out. The group knows that you are a witness to their behavior, and they have witnessed yours.

In these times, we need to resist temptation by calling on Jesus Christ to grant us the strength to overcome temptation and remove ourselves from people committing those sins. It is better to avoid trying to be the square peg in a round hole, in the long run, thinking you’re going to reshape the group. Should you not comply, you will only suffer further humiliation. It is far better to pray for them and be friendly to them but not part of them. Since if they are to have a change of heart, it is from your ability to void living the group’s sinful life.

It’s so much harder to resist the temptation to sin when those around you are already doing it. You’re the round peg in a square hole in those instances, so why try to fit in where you’re not supposed to? A Christian Warrior knows it is better not to associate with the enemy; in doing so, you become a traitor to the Lord. Hence if not one of 200 individuals does not stand up for righteousness, then the only conclusion is they are all corrupt.

The Lord Jesus Christ gave us an order and it is for us to stand fast at all times against an enemy. The Lord knows that we may become weak in times of tribulation so He provides us with His strength. “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. 4 We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. 5 May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.”(2 Thessalonians 3:3-5 NIV) The keyword here is perseverance.

When we read or hear of God’s protection, we will first experience no physical harm. The actual security is that of our spirit, so we do not lose hope and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. God’s protection through the Holy Spirit strengthens us to stand trials and persecution, even unto death. A Christian Warrior must always be on guard from listening to the notion that God will free you from a painful death by torture. A look at the history of nearly two thousand years will show many men and women who died martyrs death; this is what it means to have perseverance.

Today many Christian have grown soft and believe that God will plunk them from the earth when some terrible trouble and adversity arrives, but trails are always present. War, famine, killing, and disease are still ready to destroy us. We are to stand fast, to have perseverance, and not crumble in these times of trial. A Christian Warrior’s mindset is one that no matter how badly the fighting goes, you continue to fight even when all is lost. Unlike those of Masada who choose suicide, then die at the hand of a Roman soldier or become a slave. A Christian Warrior as orders from the Lord to stand fast, to persevere to the last breath.

When I was young, before my teens, we would often play a game called Follow the Leader and when following the leader in this game is to do what the leader did. If the leader jumps, you jump. If the leader ran or climbed a fence, you did the same. Hence, we can say that following is to imitate the leader. Jesus said this about following him. “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12 NIV) Well, back to the game, if Jesus is the light and walks in the light, then if I follow Him, then I too am in the light, and I too am light because a follower imitates the leader and the Holy Spirit helps us to do both follow and imitate.

If, while playing the game, the leader walks in the sand or the snow, then we who follow must step where the leader stepped. Therefore to follow Jesus, we must walk in His footsteps without changing His steps’ imprint, so we must also imitate Him. To imitate Jesus Christ, we must learn to think and act like Jesus Christ to follow him accurately. Every action that the leader makes in the game of following the leader must be carried out. To be successful, we must stop trying to do something else behind the leader. When we do, we are not following.

What then is the first thing a follower must do to follow the leader accurately? The follower can no longer think of what to do and when to do it. The key to this is in Psalm 46:10 when God says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” This is the basis of all spiritual work. Let the voice of the Holy Spirit tell you what to do and when to do it. When you listen and do what the Holy Spirit says to do, and you do it. You are following Christ in His footsteps. Let me remind you following in Christ’s footsteps is not easy. Like in the game I play as a pre-teen, the leader would jump over, crawl under, climb over obstacles. In life, we face many challenges but if we follow Jesus Christ and imitate what He does, we get over them. The game begins when the leader Jesus said, “Come, follow me,” (Matthew 4:19 NIV)

After the fall of mankind, a separation and blockage took place in sensing the Spirit of God within, and “Oneness” was lost.

Since subconscious divided in two, it still possessed some of its earlier attributes; these attributes still provided man with a certain level of dominion that he had before the separation. The Law of Attraction and The Law of Manifestation were still within his grasp. However, he would now have to learn through hard work how to use them. Humankind now would have to use his will power and trial and error to discover mastery of these Laws. Hence, the man was and is capable of achieving great success in all areas of his life. Abundant or eternal life was out of reach, so no matter how great was man’s success, he would “surely die.”

The next level mixes beliefs or thoughts of both good and evil. For example, the person holds to the idea that if you work hard, you will become successful while looking at others who are successful, claiming that they got all the breaks. Two conflicting thought processes exist at this level; therefore, the individual experiences some success but never to the degree desired. It is because the conscious level is saying, ‘If I work hard, I will become very successful, while emotionally, he is also saying, I never get any breaks.’ It is due primarily to the unawareness of envy, resentment, or some other negative belief. Since, in this case, the emotional thoughts upload more easily into the subconscious, the results are counterproductive. The majority of people are at this level due to conflicting views between emotional consciousness and mental consciousness; therefore, they block their success. The results are the individual never achieves the desire of the heart.

Moving upward to the next level of manifestation is consciousness in control, predominantly a positive or a good thinker and emotions that agree. Here we have the people who manifest their businesses and other forms of affairs and activities through; sheer willpower. They know that it is a numbers game. It requires physical action, which means working extended hour days, making a large number of phone calls, physically organizing, seeing clients, running errands, administrating, and doing whatever it takes to be successful. It may, however, create an unbalanced lifestyle but a financially sound one.

The final stage of human conscious programming the subconscious mind to manifest our desired results. The individuals are those who seem to get all the breaks in life. They use the power of their imagination to attract and manifest their desires. They understand and use the fundamental Law of Manifestation to their advantage. Winners believe that they can win on both the conscious and subconscious levels; we accomplish this by visualizing the win both mentally, emotionally and expecting it to happen. This law functions regardless if you are aware and understand it or not. It is the Hermetic law of correspondence, which states, “As within, so without, as above, so below.” What you think and imagine in your conscious and subconscious mind, abstract world of thought will manifest its mirror likeness in your concert world of matter. Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world. It is the law, and it displays for good or for the bad. In short, there is only one result for the Law of Manifestation, and that is a success.

The final level is a conscious and subconscious awareness of “Oneness with the Lord” Here, success is not measured, but earthly forms of wealth since things never completing fill the void of the heart which longs to be reunited with God. It is this level where we achieve contentment and happiness results in “oneness” since only the Spirit of God can fill the void.
