INTRODUCTION

Choosing One Theme evolved from a curriculum called Our Storied Lives: A Self-Fulfilling Prophecy, which developed out of years of guided study at the nurturing hand of Shekinah/Holy Spirit in areas of biblical and secular materials, meditation, research of mental development, hypnosis, experiencing being in the zone, and from teaching the literary components for reading and writing to children and adults. Shekinah inspired me while teaching adult students the narrative process that we can state the essence of every living creature and nonliving object in our world with a single theme for the reason for being. Knowledge of one’s theme would answer the age-old suggestion “Know thyself.” Personal Theme relates to Plato’s perfect pattern, Florence Scovel Shinn’s divine design, Addison O’Neill’s material personality, and Joseph S. Benner’s idea. A theme is an individual’s true destiny as intended by infinite intelligence, universal consciousness, or God, if you prefer. Once the revelation of a theme occurred to me, a flood of knowledge filled my conscious mind.

I began to use this knowledge in my adult evening classes to illustrate theme as an element in a story. With this information, I developed a strategy for teaching the two-edged sword concept of theme 1) as it applies to the reading and writing process of a narrative and 2) as it applies to self-discovery, to students in both my special education classes and my adult evening classes with the aid of DC and Marvel Comics. Having shown students the covers of Superman, Batman, Iron Man, and Spider-Man comics and then asked, “What kind of characters are these?” they replied, “Superheroes.” They were then asked, “What do superheroes do?” They replied, “Save people.” I asked, “From whom?” They responded, “Super villains.” I then asked, “What do you think is the main idea or theme of every comic book with a superhero?” Their answers were, “Saving people, good versus evil, and salvation.”

One of my adult students, during the lesson, indicated that Jesus Christ was a superhero and his theme was salvation. My response was, “Very good!” I particularly liked this answer. The whole idea for the lesson had begun while mediating on the event in Jesus Christ’s mission when He saves a prostitute from stoning. This act was not of healing but rather salvation. I had also done a great deal of reading concerning Mary Magdalene, so Jesus clearly is the ultimate example of a superhero. These meditations were also manifesting in my solid world of matter. (I will deal with manifestation in greater length later.) There is a great deal of spiritual development for man in understanding the energy behind the first encounter between him and the prostitute. It is, in fact, the physical experience of the archetype of the seduction between Adam and Eve. Something is about to happen, negative or positive. I met a woman who was self-employed in the oldest profession. She was unable to find work and had a son in medical school. She needed to earn money. She was desperate and crying, nearly twenty years younger than I. So I purchased a small business and put her to work. She now had respectable employment, and I was now her angel, hero, or savior. I realized that in that chapter of my life, I had played the part of the hero, and that was the theme for that chapter. That experience, provided by the Holy Spirit, inspired me with this concept of uncovering one’s theme.

When the class understood the concept of theme, I asked, “If someone was to write your biography, what would be the theme of your life?” None of my students were able to answer; therefore, for homework, their assignment was to examine their life as a story in search of a theme. After several lessons and homework assignments, they each arrived at a theme. My seventh and eighth-grade resource students were able to discover a theme with less degree as compared to the adult students in ABE/GED classes. This, I believe, was due to less influence from worldly experience and opinions and belief of self. In a research project conducted by my wife on career choice, she discovered that adults who were most content and happy in their chosen career chose their career between age of ten and eleven.

After my evening adult ABE/GED students and my seventh and eighth-grade resource students had discovered a theme, it provided both groups with a clearer picture of who they are and what their career choices should be. This awareness empowered them with greater focus for their future, as well as to improve their writing skills. It was apparent to me that an individual theme was divine design, infinite intelligence’s intent for a particular personality. Awareness of a particular theme was, in fact, a primary step for oneness with super-consciousness (universal consciousness, or God), the Eden state of consciousness. Christianity refers to this state as the Christ within, or Christ consciousness. Without this state of consciousness, it is impossible to escape the trials of tribulation that await humanity. Christianity teaches that the life of Christ was prophesized long before he appeared and walked in Israel with both details of his birth and death. A hypothesis came to mind: “What if individuals, having discovered a theme and envisioned a life based on their theme, then wrote their own prophecy, autobiographies, and then lived it. They would lead a more fulfilling life.” This hypothesis was based on the statement, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33, DBT). After my students discovered a personal theme, I asked them to write about their future based on their individual personal theme as if it had already happened and to read their story daily.

My resource students with various learning disabilities suddenly became empowered with a desire to learn the necessary educational requirements to achieve their individual theme. This knowledge of a personal theme provided them with a mission and an understanding of the importance to master the necessary skills and educational requirements to manifest and achieve their personal theme. The knowledge of their personal theme empowered them with possession of their destiny. As a result, it accelerated their learning to the point that they were declassified and were able to join the general population. The significance of this achievement indicates a mastery of two or more grade levels within a single year in either literacy or mathematics or both. This dramatic result occurred with the introduction of writing an autobiography, an self-fulfilling prophesy, before living it. Individuals who go through this process can fulfill their intended destiny.

In closing, I would also like to add that, although the original design of Return to Eden was a methodology for teaching the narrative process for classroom teachers and their students, the original purpose began to evolve as the concepts took on symbolic form (words). It evolved from being the author of a narrative to becoming the narrative, the symbol of the author’s hand. It became significantly apparent that I was the student writing the master teacher’s, Father’s, thoughts. What had started out to be a workbook on finding a personal theme leading to a successful, abundant life with health, wealth, and happiness for individuals of various ages also became the blueprint for the way to Return to Eden. “Enoch walked with God, then he was no more,” (Genesis 5:24, INV). Enoch walked with God, disappeared and entered into the World of the Living, and returned to Eden. Jesus Christ became the road for us to travel on so we too could return to Eden.

Enjoy the journey back.

Do we judge correctly?

Two glasses of equal size one is full with water the  other has none.

Our first impression is that the glass with water is full while the other is empty, but is this judgment correct. Today we hear all types of theories about how to use our brain and our thoughts. The idea that if we just use our minds a certain way we will achieve all our hearts desires. The idea is that science wishes to provide the answers for all our behaviors. Well let’s take a look at the two glasses. The one with water can only hold a pint of water before over flowing. Our ego thinks that it can control its fate with just its own natural brainpower. So it fills itself with ideas and theories to convince itself with the illusion of being full. Now let’s take a closer look at the so-called empty glass. It is full of air, but not only is the glass full of air it is connected to all the air surrounding the earth. There is no separation between the air in the glass and that of what is outside the glass. When we surrender our Ego and empty our self of its desire to control and accept the presence of God within, Universal Consciousness, the separation between the consciousness of God and man vanishes, and we become one. Now with God all things become possible.

Accelerating Change

Are you unhappy with your career? Well, you are not alone 55% of Americans are unhappy with their career. Even more interesting is that the top 10% are the only ones who are in the career of their first choice. This group is also you must successful and wealthiest. These top earns chose their career at between the ages of 10 and 11. Just think of the advantage they have over someone getting interested in the same field at age 18. There is 8 more years of dreaming and visualizing in order to attract success. Therefore those starting later need to develop visualization skills that can amplify and accelerate the process.

Let’s examine this more closely as a 10 year old boy named Sam day dreams, visualizes a career everyday for 8 years to till he is 18 years old. This means he visualized for 2,920 days. Now at 30 minutes a day that would be a total of 1,460 hours of visualization in order to manifest his dream. Now when Sam is 17 another boy Tom decides at the age of 17 to manifest the same dream. However, Tom has not sent a single minute in doing so, therefore in order to compete with Sam, Tom now needs meditate, day dream, visualize 4 hours a day for one year in order to equal Sam’s 1,460 hours of visualization.

Therefore, the older you are the more time and energy is needed to attract your desires. It also means all unnecessary thoughts most be eliminated because those thought subtract and reverse the process. Therefore a guide is needed to help you accelerate the process so you can obtain your desires and be where you were intended to be.

If you are looking to attract and manifest more of what you want in life you must first be true to yourself. Start by knowing your talent, personal theme and mission.

The Accelerating School Model
by Dr. Anthony Raimondo
The present education model has remained primarily the same while many ineffective programs have been introduced, one after another, and all producing mediocre results. The present model is designed solely for the purpose of analytical examination and formulating hypothesis. In addition, the system disregards the individual and is solely interested in a collective population with a uniformed educational background; one size fits all.
The model presented here is a paradigm shift from the academic model of classroom learning to a more corporate industrial model. It also changes the paradigm from instructing all students to performing equally to individual talent development. The present academic design is constructed on the analytical process of examining and proposing hypothesis, whereas the new model evolves to the level of the practical design of ideas, and putting theories into application. This shifts the model from the abstract theorizing to the concrete fabricating of ideas, being the practical approach of the entrepreneur. The New School Model trains students to first discover a career choice and then to master the skills needed to perform the tasks.
In this model, schools are designed to replicate the corporate service and production industries rather than the university campus environment. The New School Model will go beyond the charter school concept of a school with a theme, to a school that provides evidence of the theme with a tangible product or service, thus giving students hands on experience. Further this evidence is marketable within the community, producing financial earnings in the form of fundraisers for additional activities for students, and bonuses for staff.
The academic department design of a particular school will no longer be divided into academic areas of study, but rather into career groupings. Example, English Language Arts will be publishing and include all the forms of literary publishing from ads to novels. Chemistry becomes quality control and research. The various departments will be based on the overall theme of the school. Students will be encouraged to enroll in programs and schools that support their talents.
Students will be required to decide on career possibility by the ninth grade. An Individualized Training Plan will be developed for each student. The Individual Training Plan will provide all necessary requirements needed to complete the training and advancement to any additional training needed.
For example, let’s look at the folly behind paying for an education at a university in the Performing Arts Department, when the school could produce a film with nearly no budget that could possible gross 140 million dollars, as low budget film, such as, the Blair Witch Project. This is just one of many examples of how the Accelerating School Model could improve education by developing the raw talent of the students, and create practical fundraising projects. As a result the Accelerating School Model would improve the education of our children and would also reduce the cost of education.

The Problem With Education

I often read or hear about how our schools are failing and now it seems the reason for failure is the teacher. However, I would like us to examine and compare education with other industries.

We often read or hear how education is failing in the USA. I would like to illustrate and compare education with other industries.

Let’s take a walk through any different industry for a moment. I am in the business of making windows so I need to order glass, and wood, and other metal pieces that I don’t make so I place and order for wood and the material comes damaged or twisted so I can’t use it. So I send it back and either have them ship me a new order or go to a different suppler. Now I also have a few guys who cannot read a diagram and they are making windows that don’t work so I fire them.

Now in the education industry the laborer and the material are one and the same. A parent sends a school the material to be shaped and molded into something intelligent. However, the product has limitations and should be sent back to the parent however, the parent company tells you their is no refund you have to work with the present material.

Now the material is also your employee who isn’t capable of doing the work or refuses. Problem here is you cannot fire this employee because of government laws forbid it. Also you are not in charge of quality control and outside agency that knows nothing about your business “the government” tells you the your product does not met their standards. You the government tells you that your final product must be diamonds but the parents have sent you, wood, steel, fabric, water, air, the list is endless. The government quality control says NCFB rules are that all children must end up to be the same when the manufacturing is completed. No other industry makes steel from wood.

No other industry has to use poor material and not return it, and use the material as its employees and has outside quality control. Now finally the supervisors “teachers” are held responsible for the final end product. Why aren’t the parents responsible for the product they sent for production?

The education is the only manufacturing company of its type and with outside agencies controlling the outcome, forced to make one product out of many different materials. Now the media and every one else wonders why the system is failing. Any one who tried to turn wood into steel or paper into gold would be considered insane. Yet, this is the mind set when it comes to education.

If you are really interested in the fix contact me. The solution is very simple and cost effective. If you understand my comparison than you can see where the pit falls are and where the changes need to be made.
